The Revillagigedos Archipelago

I just completed a fantastic photo workshop at Mexico's amazing Revillagigedos Archipelago, or more widely known as Socorro. I had the pleasure of leading 19 guests on the Rocio Del Mar live aboard for a seven day intensive workshop to one of the eastern Pacific oceans greatest treasures.

Of particular interest at this destination are the large pelagic animals such as the Giant Pacific Manta Ray, Humpback whales, many species of sharks, and the sheer remoteness of these tiny islands.

Head over to the Bluewater Dive Travel site to read the trip report and see some of the images. Here are a few samples.

A large Manta Ray makes a close pass at San Benedicto Island.

Two live aboard dive boats at sunset...with Socorro Island off in the distance.
