Interested in attending a photo workshop? You've come to the right place. Below is a list of currently scheduled underwater photo workshops I will be leading for the remainder of 2019 and 2020. New workshops are always being planned, so check back for updates.
Attending a workshop is a great way to learn the basics of underwater photography as a beginner, or brush up on more advanced skills if you are an experienced photographer. You will learn about the tools of the trade, lighting principles, strobe positioning, creative lighting techniques and much more. Photo workshops are organized in such a way to allow between 3-5 dives per day as well as daily image reviews and instructional lectures.

Join me to swim with and photograph humpback whales in beautiful Mo’orea, French Polynesia. This is a small group trip which includes a total of five guests, plus me. If you have ever dreamed of getting up close to one of the most majestic animals on the planet, this trip is for you.

Lembeh is often considered one of the world’s premier macro destinations. Join me on this trip to explore the amazing Lembeh Strait, where we will do up to four dives per day. We are staying at the amazing NAD Lembeh resort, which offers a 2:1 diver-to-guide ratio, which will ensure incredible photo opportunities.

We will be visiting some of the most bio-diverse and dense waters anywhere on the planet as we enjoy 10 nights on the Damai in the jewel of the Coral Triangle. Limited to a total of 12 divers this is sure to be an amazing workshop. Daily image reviews, photo instruction and incomparable diving on one of the world’s premier liveaboards.

Visayas & Bohol in the Philippines: Photo Workshop on the Infiniti Liveaboard
January 25 - January 31, 2020
Explore the Philippines on the Infiniti Liveaboard, while we dive in the Visayas and Bohol. Known for a fantastic mix of both wide angle and macro photography sites, we will do up to four dives per day as well as daily image reviews, photo instruction and incomparable diving on one of the areas best liveaboards.
West coast of Cebu is Moalboal with its shimmering shoals of sardines, sea snakes and sweet lips.
Pescador Island with its shallow coral gardens and wall diving where clownfish, frogfish, triggerfish, snappers and Moorish idols, turtles can be seen along with many macro species.
Sumilon waters with constant currents are frequently visited by black tip shark, silver tuna, and other reef fish and are recommended for experienced divers.
Apo Island has reef walls with hard and soft corals where turtles, angelfish, snapper barracudas, moray eels, triggerfish, white tips can be seen regularly.
Balicasag in Bohol is a marine sanctuary where beautiful corals are teeming with reef life… great place for snorkeling and drift dive.
Cabilao Island, Bohol with Barracudas, dogtooth tunas, giant trevallies and also macro marine life like sea horses and nudis.
Malapascua & Leyte in the Philippines: Photo Workshop on the Infiniti Liveaboard
February 1 - February 7, 2020
Explore the Philippines on the Infiniti Liveaboard, while we dive in the Malapascua and Leyte. Known for a fantastic mix of both wide angle and macro photography sites, we will do up to four dives per day as well as daily image reviews, photo instruction and incomparable diving on one of the areas best liveaboards.

Gato Island: White Tip Alley, the Cave, Nudibranch City.
Leyte Region: Panaon Island, Sogod Bay and more.
Wreck diving at Lighthouse Wreck and the Dona Marilyn wreck for experienced divers.
Marine life: Malapascua region is a divers dream destination for Thresher Shark sightings, Sea snake sanctuary of the Gato Island. Nudibranchs, white tip reef sharks, whale sharks, flamboyant cuttlefish, schools of Barracuda, tuna and jacks are some of the marine life in addition to the healthy coral gardens alive with a variety of macro marine life.
April 23 - May 3, 2020 & May 3 - May 10, 2020
Join me along with Bluewater Photo in April/May 2020 for the annual Anilao underwater photography workshops, featuring some amazing reef and critter diving at Crystal Blue Resort. This trip is consistently one of the most popular trips and sells out each year. There are two workshops scheduled back-to-back…a 10-day and a 7-day workshop.
This is a workshop for those of you that like critters; Anilao boasts one of the highest densities of nudibranchs anywhere in the world. Small groups of 4:1 diver-to-guide ratios and up to four dives per day. Anilao has also become a destination for black water diving and you will have an option to get out into the deep black water to experience Anilao after dark.
